I went to the movies tonight, saw three trailers, and immediately had opinions about all three of them. They were (A.) Into the Storm, (B.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and (C.) Interstellar. Here are those thoughts: (A.) I would be more interested in this movie if it went by its true title: Twister 2: This Time its Personal (alternate subtitle: All Hall the MegaTwister). (B.) There was a line of dialogue that went: Weve taken your Shredder armor to a new level (or something to that affect). I believe this is how Michael Bay views his cinematic achievements. I think when he makes a new movie based on an old franchise, he kicks his feet up on to the desk, puts his hands behind his head and says, Nailed it! I just took this franchise to a new level. Then, he high fives himself, and lights a cigar made of one hundred dollars bills and the glitter of corrupted childhood memories. (C.) Im still trying to figure out when exactly I stepped into a Twilight Zone episode where I view Matthew McConaugheys involvement as a mark of quality.
