I went up to a man who had a hat on that said Vietnam Vet and shook his hand and I told him that I appreciated his service to our country and I told him God bless you and boy oh boy did his face light up! He just happened to be a black gentleman setting at a table eating with his wife. Before I left I anonymously paid their meal for them and after I left I realized I didnt even pay for my own meal! It truly is more blessed to give then it is to receive! I walked away feeling like a million dollars! A couple of hours went by and I decided to listen to Joel Osteen on my xmradio and he was talking about letting people know that you appreciate them and to acknowledge their sacrifices and he immediately mentioned a Vietnam Vet that was appreciating a young man that saved his life! I thought that was amazing how God was letting me know that I did the right thing! Anyway this really made my day! Vietnam vets especially black veterans werent always treated so nice so I hope I brought a little healing to a veteran hero for our country!
