I will Call it a Social fragmentation ,the very repercussion of having a booming industry in a village. I would not consider it a positive impact of the birth of economic upliftment project. It maybe expected but what I cannot comprehend is the happening after 30 years. Is life this uncertain? If not a handsome hunk but definitely a forward man Mr. Dhondup shares his not so happy ending story with a passionate listener. I could not walk against the stroking heat but his grief stricken story ( i presume) left me occupied. They committed to complete rest of their life in unison finding comfort in each others presence but call it game of fate or mistake by choice, their knot untied after 30 years( separation after 30 years sound alarming to me). Who would have thought such foul fate would fall on the happening couple of those days. i want to believe their relation didnt flourish but they always found a reason to be united. I am of the opinion obstructions are in every kind of relations and it is the matter of commitment you have for it to make it worse or better. No doubt many would have confronted similar incidences but doesnt 30 years or maybe more if I have understood correctly sound strangely strange. why didnt it happen before 30 years if separation was their destiny. She is 70 , still Young does it sound? And he is 60. They have no kids but she has one. Heat exhausted me but his tale rejuvenated the energy in me. its been 5 years she left for better tomorrow. Nobody knows how better is the future? he claims perhaps she was Hypnotized by that man. how fascinating did she find him at 70? It further left me dumbfounded after knowing she left him for a tunnel labour from india. The tunnel labour dug her out of his life it seems. Grass is always greener on other side of the pasture. He confidently says to me you know there are so many such charactered women in our village . And I was made to think his love life too was not an exception and its absolutely normal. He is now husbanded by his siblings. He says to me madam Life is comfortable when you are single. He never crossed the ridge after knowing she resided there with that labour. I am completely speechless and I wish to meet the other half (70 years old woman) when I travel through that ridge. Its 9pm and I am just back from work. I could not sleep without writing this amazing story ( I dont know if you all find it amazing as well). I have listened to his story like any dedicated daughter
