I will apologize up front if this sound jumbled but this came to me this morning in the car and I just had to share it. I have heard many time that the wages of sin is death. Heard it preached and read the verse. Yet it weighed heavy on me this morning. The wages of sin is death because if we cling to the sin and not ask for forgiveness. We are just wallowing in sin. We were all sinners. We are all provided opportunities to ask for forgiveness for our sins. Only God knows how many chances we are going to get to accept and believe. He knows when we are appointed to die. If you dont ask for forgiveness from your sin then you dying with that sin. But if you die believing, you are only dead to this world but praise God have eternal life with him. God has given you chance after chance, Accept! Pray dear father I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe that you sent your son to die on a cross to wash my sins away. He rose again to make a home with you on high. We dont know what tomorrow bring. We dont know how long we have. But sin equals death. Ask for forgiveness to have eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
