I will be 71 in a few days. There lighting bugs we caught wrest put in jars and watch them blink, then took them out and squash them on our hands to make them glow.out in the yard at dark we played kit the bucket hide and seek no tv caught big Rio bettels. daddy would bring home bier grasshoppers. We pull off hoppers so they could pull match boxes. Played baseball in the vacan lot no parents around. Made up our own rules. Fights were all most impossible because some one was aware of what we were up to. My little grandma broken up a fight between four eighth graders no smart mouthiing. You could be sure the parents would know. A little bird told them. We played in the gully ill will let you figure out what that was. Listened to the long ranger one time on the car radio we had no radio in the house. We were very creative in occupying our time out side.
