I will be in hospital by this time next week having a total hip replacement, as my right hip has been giving me a lot of pain for the last couple of months and xrays have shown that the hip is worn out . I should be in hospital for about a week and then have to take things very quietly for the next six weeks. Poor Jan is going to have her work cut out looking after a grumpy old man !!!!
