I will be on my horse tomorrow, clearing brush from in the saddle...reposting signs & maps, taking notes for other trail maintenance needs...with a few other gal friends. my saddle bag of tools, and water, and lunch, and bug dope. see...rocking horses are the best fun ever. thanks to counsin craig and brian, my thompson cousins, my siblings, grandpa ralph and uncle bert, betty, barb, sonny...for all the horse loving fun we have had while we were growing up...which brought me this passion. thank you mom for letting me dump out doll clothes and collect frogs in my little toy suitcase (i still have it)...and for letting me play with snakes in the house. and dad for letting me be me...and all you taught me. and kay for playing barbies...how many hours was that? and mark for playing with the johnny and jane west dolls and their horses and chuck wagon on the texas trails in the front yard. and...kerielle for sharing this passion...and dick for putting up with it all. and john wayne and roy rogers, etc. and, our local Forest Service Friends are great, bring us recreation and relaxation and fun opportunities...doing their best to help all types of trail users, while protecting the environment. how do i know? i have been working with them for about 9 yrs. i feel so blessed and relaxed in the woods. thanking God for it all. cathy
