I will be representing Buddhist Group for HUMAN LIBRARY Topic: Faith, Money and Well-Being Venue: Central Library, Aberdeen on Saturday 26th October 2013 At this event is part of Aberdeens One World Week celebrations, one or more representatives of particular faiths or world views will be willing to talk about their perspective within several half-hour slots: · 20 minutes talk, followed by · 10 minutes dialogue, with 10 minutes for change-overs for listeners We will have six locations within the library complex, one (the committee Room) just off the Cafe area, and five in the lower mezzanine area). At 10.25, 11.05, 11.50 and 12.30 library attendants will take those who have signed up to ‘read’ a ‘book’ to the respective rooms. If you are interested in attending a session please go the registration desk at the front of the café and ask for your name to be put down for a session (unless you preregistered). We have agreed not to have more than 5 readers for any given session. If a slot is full up, please consider attending a later session or trying another faith instead. Programme: Representatives of the following faiths will be included: Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim & Sikh.
