I will be the first to admit I have always had entitlement issues. You think if your a good person and you strive to do your best, then you will succeed. Thats what we have been told growing up, right. But the truth is that the vast majority of us are a paycheck or two away from disaster. Now that I am on my own these issues have been put-up front and center for me. I am learning to control my spending, sure thats easy. Well maybe not easy but its doable. I am looking for a better job and even considering going to a trade school. But I still keep expecting that someone or something is going to swoop down and fix everything. I live too often in fantasy world. So reality, I am learning to recognize and embrace you. I am so much stronger than I thought and I dont need to have anyone take care of me. I only need love and support.
