I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you. ---------- Isaiah 43: 2 RISING WATERS, ROARING RIVERS, FLAMING FIRE, --- NEVER FEAR, GOD IS HERE!!! --- I know many of you are going through some trying times right now. There are some situations that I am personally aware of where the pain and difficulties have been severe. In fact, non of us are exempt from facing challenges, some of which can shake us to our core!!! --- As we try to cope with these troubling situations, we must remember that WE ARE NOT ALONE!!! In these difficult times, I think of our scripture verse for today where God is in the process of restoring Israel. Reading this verse encourages me as I realize that Gods promise to His people back then, is a promise that He makes to us today!!! God says to ALL of us, I WILL BE WITH YOU. You may feel that you are drowning as the depth of your problems continues to rise. You may think that you will be swept away from the swift current of the river of stress that you are in the middle of. You may even fear that you will be consumed by the flames of the fire that surrounds you. --- But DO NOT give in to these thoughts and fears!!! Go back, and read this verse again. Remember what God says: I WILL BE WITH YOU WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS AND THE RIVERS, YOU WILL NOT BE SCORCHED AS YOU WALK THROUGH THE FIRE!!! We must never let our problems keep us DOWN, we must keep looking UP to God, because He has promised to be with us and see us through whatever comes our way!!! --- PRAISE THE LORD!!!
