I will go on the record and disagree with this decision in the strongest possible terms. Who are these rebels? Do we even know? What if they take down Assad, will they be worse? Will the arms supplied to the "rebels" be used against Israel? Will supplying arms to rebels escalate Russian and Iranian involvement? The recent record of interfering with Libya and Egypt has been horrendous -- both countries are far worse than before. This is a very bad decision on so many levels.
