I will have a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit Class on Saturday November 29th, 2014. The class will start promptly at 8:00. The class is held in Morrison, Tennessee (Warren County). It is about a fifteen minute drive from Manchester or McMinnville. The classroom portion is conducted at 369 Grove Road in Morrison. The live fire exam (fifty round course) is held at the Viola Valley Shooting Range. The range address is 742 Fibelkorn Road Morrison, TN. 37357. It is a four mile drive from the classroom to the range. All state required training (class lecture, written exam, and range training) is completed in this one day course. Participants must be a Tennessee resident, U.S. citizen, and legally able to purchase / carry a firearm (IE ; No felony record, never convicted of a domestic assault, not on probation for a Class A misdemeanor, etc.). You must be at least 21 to legally purchase a handgun or handgun ammunition in the state of Tennessee. You may participate in this course if your 21st birthday is within six months of the class date. You will not be able to apply for your permit until you are 21. The cost of this class is $50. Due the day of the class by either check or cash (no credit / debit cards).
