I will have to do a couple extra days, but that is ok!! 1. I am thankful for Gene Grant and Lorraine Grant. When I was born, Gene said I was his, although it was/is obvious that I wasnt and when my mom died he and his mom decided they would take on the task of raising this little girl. It may not have been the most ideal situation, it still was a home and I was still given chances at life some kids were not given. They loved me the best they could and they gave me the best that they could. I love them and miss them daily and hope they knew how grateful I am to them. 2. I am thankful for teachers along the way that sensed I needed extra love Mary Metheny Masterson, Mrs. Huff, Mr. Schmittling, Mr. Johnson, and way to many to name them all. Thank you for taking an extra shining to a little girl who wasscared and just wanted to fit in!! You gave me the courage to go on with my life and to do the best I could with the tools that you helped instill in me. Thank you I will never forget you! 3. I am thankful for this wonderful house that my family has been blessed with!! It is perfect for us and I feel blessed everyday to be able to take care of my family in it!! It is not a house but a home and I hope my family feels that way!! God has, is and continues to be faithful to our little family!! I nominate Jody Weger Andriano and Kelly Semlow-Smith.
