I will let it be known now before God and man that, the next time a certain politician sashays into my office, as he often does, and thrusts his hand towards my direction, I am going to look him in the eye and inform him that if he EVER (after this, his 2nd DUI) hurts any of my children who travel frequently the route on which he was again arrested last light, job be darned, he will not need to worry about re-election or anything else voter-related. He might act like Mr. World-Loves-Me in McDowell County, buy my crazy and protective instincts are those of a mother, and my oldest children drive that route from Concord very often (one child will be attending Concord in the fall), and by God if an over-privileged politician thinks that he can imbibe til his hearts delight and then drive around as though he owns the place, he has another thing coming. THIS woman has an education in criminal justice, and I dont mean from some fly-by-night advertised-on-tv school, and I am NOT from The County so I have nothing to lose by standing up for my children (and others children) and telling this FINE upstanding citizen what he stands to lose if he harms one hair on the head of one of our babies. He is dealing with a native of Raleigh, NC. I have no political allegiances here, and I have seen how things work here. Mr. Moore, you would do well to straighten up and fly right. I may lose my job by speaking my mind, but my babies come before my job. Remember that.
