I will like some education on the issue of celebrating and killing a Ram as a mark of Eid-el-Kabir. Yes!! Abraham was instructed by God to kill his only son Isaac, which Islam recognises as Ishmael as sacrifice to him but he was obedient and willing to do Gods wish, before God interceded and shown him a Ram instead to kill as sacrifice to Him instead of his only son, now its been celebrated by Islam every year in recognition of such acts over 2000 years ago, whats the essence of it? And is it impossible to imbibe such humility and salient noble acts without killing innocent rams to re-enact the scene, if we continue these cruelty against animals every year, does that import millions of our leaders who are definitely Muslims imbibe these same message and remonstrate such? Its hypocritical coming in public with their garbs, hoodwinking the public they are Believers but the next day, they commit evil acts of great magnitude, assassinate human beings, every evil acts perpetrated to hold onto power at all cost, while they pretend to us in public display deception. I know some gullible & empty heads would ignorantly imply my simple thirst for knowledge & understanding of How & Why as an affront & attack on Islam. Waiting to see how many intelligent people are out there, who can think without being Tele-guided by their fanatism of their religious beliefs?
