I will like to wish all the teachers who taught me at RCM Primary School Buea-Town a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR I cannot remember my infants’ one, two & three teachers’ names. I have a picture image of them but I have forgotten their names so I will start with class four. Head Master (HM): Mr. George Tachang Class Four: Mr Fombeh What a nice gentleman he was. He made coming to school so much fun. He had a good sense of humor. Class Five: Mrs Chindo. What can I say about Mrs. Chindo. What a great lady she was to us. In addition to a lot of things, she was the one who taught us how to pronounce EUROPE. Think back in class five how challenging EU-rope could have been for us. She always reminded us to keep the “E” silent. She was so good of a teacher, leader, manager and disciplinarian that she was later made the Head Mistress (HM) of the School. I do remember her English lessons (period) so well. Now I am jumping Every day I jump Yesterday I Jumped Tomorrow I shall jump Class Six: Mr. Goddy Membwange, Mr. Emmanuel Mua & Mr. Fritz Eseke. Mr. Goddy Membwange taught me in class six for a short while before he left for major seminary. He was such a soft spoken, easy going, compassionate gentleman. Mr. Emmanuel Mua (RIP). He took over from Mr. Membwange. He was such a lively teacher. “Show teacher” we used to call him. He had styles. Can you imagine how young these gentlemen were at the time?. Mr. Mua used to share stories he had read in Newsweek,Time & Readers Digest magazines in class with us. Mr. Fritz Eseke was a BTTC (Baptist Teacher Training College) Soppo student at the time. He was sent to do his practicals at RCM School Buea Town,. He also was one of the nineteen (19) young Cameroonian students who made up the College Singers who toured the United States and Canada in 1969. Class Seven; Mr Engebelt Ngwofon and Mrs Tighem. Class seven. Class seven. Getting ready to write First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) & Common Entrance examinations. The anchor year. WOW. We could not have asked for any better teachers than these two great individuals. Mr. Engebelt taught at RCM school for a long time. When I got to class seven he taught us for a short while and then he went on to became an Inspector of Warders in Buea. Mrs Tighem took over from Mr. Engebelt. Thank you Mrs. Tighem, Thank you. I last saw Mrs Tigem in 1980 and she was still looking as beautiful as she did when she was my teacher. Thank you all teachers for my educational foundation. I could not have asked for any better set of teachers than you all And to all my fellow RCM School fellow Mass boys, (Alter boys), Job Orji, Alphonse Fum Ngamne, Germanus Elame, Emmanuel Doe (Dr.) and Edward Cheyip, Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you all. Hope to see you all sometime soon again. May The Almighty continue to guide, protect and Bless all these great teacher and friends I met in my younger days in Buea. I have always treasured all the lessons I learnt from you all. May your Holiday season be filled with Good Health, Love, Peace and Happiness wherever you may be today. https://youtube/watch?v=vFc7STuQF0U
