I will miss my dear friend, colleague and mentor, pioneering filmmaker Ronn Pitts, who made his transition last Sunday in Chicago. Ronn lived a heroic life, helping to break down the many barriers of racial and gender discrimination in the film industry. He never hesitated to share his wisdom and knowledge.
