I will never argue, fight about, or even debate with anyone about my belief in God. Yes, I highly believe in God. But Im not one of the ones that will slap the Bible in your face. One of the most beautiful things in this world is everyones free choice to believe (or not believe) in anything they want. Im not here to shove my religion down your throat. I live my life, and I live it well. And if anybody asks me how I carry myself so greatly, I tell them its because I have Faith in a higher being, that He looks after me, protects me, and helps me with struggle. Thats my choice. That also comes with having Hope that all things get better. I wont propose that my God is better than anyone elses God or that He rules all of you. I will, however, defend my God. Because one thing I truly dislike, is when people attack my faith. Like I said, believe what you want to believe. Do you. But the moment you want to start mocking the way I live, thats where I get defensive. Thats basically making fun of me and others for having that kind of hope. I would like to steal a friends metaphor when he said Thats like you and I eating a sandwich, and you getting mad at the way Im eating my sandwich. I get it. There are some people out there who use our religion to judge others and tell them how to live. And trust me, Im with you on that one. We may share the same God, but I dont condone some of the things they say or preach about. But dont let them speak for all of us. I, for one, believe in God in the way that we should all spread love and care wherever, and whenever we can. Because life sucks. People are hurtful, and this world is cruel. A little love can go a long way. So the moment you want to start mocking me because of what others do, thats where I get defensive. Believe what you want to. Whatever helps you get through life, as long as youre not hurting others, do it. But dont speak about something you dont know much about, only because youve only seen the negative side of it. #EndRant
