I will never forget when I was about 8 or 9 accidentally touching the back of my leg to a naked lightbulb in a lamp that was sitting on the floor. It had been on for hours. I had walked around that lamp all the time - we put it on the floor because we didnt have a light in the ceiling in that room but at night it was too bright. . I can remember the sound it made, how it felt, how it SMELLED. I had a huge burn - the skin stuck to the bulb. I say all that to say this - dont get so comfortable around seemingly normal, seemingly harmless things that you forget the potential for danger and injury. Complacency is the bedfellow of calamity. Its easy to get in a routine and form bad habits that can lead to getting burned in the long run. #dontgetburned
