I will never forget when Katie was born for many reasons, but to my surprise she was this beautiful fair-skinned, blue-eyed, blond haired baby. With all my dark features, I thought my baby would inherit my traits. I was thrilled! I always wanted to be a blond with blue eyes. Everyone always said she looked like a Bradshaw, and I agreed. However in second grade, Katie had the same teacher I had when I was at Mitchell Elementary. I went in to her conference with Mrs. Jan Richard, and Mrs. Richard said how much Katie looked like me. I thought she was just being nice until I compared our second grade pictures. Katie may not have my coloring, but we have very similar features ... at least in my humble opinion! :) I cant begin to express how very proud I am of this once shy little girl to now the big city young lady. I love you with all my heart, Katie Bradshaw!
