I will never understand the reason why people take it upon themselves to pick out the imperfections of a vegan - someone who is doing their best to remove themselves from cruelty and lead as compassionate a lifestyle as possible - and wouldnt even think twice to do so to a feminist, gay rights advocate or any other social justice movement advocate. All of which are just as vocal and just as condemning of people who support the very thing they campaign against. Saying to a vegan well your shoes probably have animal glue in them or you buy that brand?! omg dont you know they bag the carbon dioxide from cows to grow their vegetables??!! or something along those lines, says more about what kind of person you are than it does about the person who is actually doing their best to avoid the deeply embedded and almost inescapable use of animal products. Vegan advocacy simply seeks to provide you with the knowledge to make a compassionate and cruelty free choice. You have the power, every single day, to make a cruelty free choice all it takes is a little education. earthlings/?page_id=32
