I will not let Sallie Mae intimidate me into giving over my happiness and become despondent and frustrated. A. When I call to give you money the answer is Thank you rather than thats not enough. This illicits an involuntary do you want this money or not?! Response from me. B. Passive Aggressiveness may seem like an effective tactic but in reality you are only breeding defensiveness and contempt for the situation and toward yourself. It is bullying & a cowardly form of manipulation to use shame and guilt to get what you want than to say what you need. The situation will not get solved, it will just fester. You almost got my goat Sallie. But I took a few breaths. Spoke frankly and let your tactics of intimidation wash past me. Thanked you for your service and accepted that this is what you do. Ill pay you. No scratch that, I AM paying you. Little by little. Im not my circumstances- my guides & I always find a way.
