I will not post images of dead children in Gaza as many have chosen to do; I understand their reasoning for doing so and especially here in the West often it seems we do not believe something until we see it, and of course our media is incredibly sanitized. I will say, however, that Israel has killed 73 children in the past 12 days. Thats roughly 6 a day. But I prefer to remember them as beautiful children playing on the beach, nursing on their mothers laps, running and laughing in the streets and fields. Lets remember these children not as horrific images but as exactly what they were: each one a pure and hopeful girl or boy with dreams and a future filled with the magic that only comes with childhood, even under the harsh conditions in which they and there parents were forced to live. Lets mourn them as they deserve to be; remembering their beautiful humanity in the face of barbaric cruelty. Rest easy little ones. We love you.
