I will sue ‘Songo’, fumes Abra-Appiah The chairman of the Premier League Board, Welbeck Abra Appiah has threatened to sue Asempa FM sports journalist Patrick Osei Agyemang aka "Countryman Songo" for deformational claims that the latter is a thief. According to Abra-Appiah, Osei Agyemang’s inactions and actions on radio and on TV has cast slurs on his image, that of the Premier League Board and the Ghana Football Association. Speaking to footy-ghana, an infuriated Abra- Appiah confidently said his lawyers are set to serve Osei Agyemang with a lawsuit in the coming days for him to explain in court why he said the PLB boss is a thief on his ‘Fire-for-fire’ program on Thursday on Asempa FM. “I don’t know what is wrong with that Songo boy. It is either Abra-Appiah or Kwesi Nyantakyi are thieves. What have we stolen? I have worked for reputable banks and was a board member for two major banks in Ghana. If I wanted to steal I would have stolen from the banks. There is no money in Football, so what are we stealing from football? I am just waiting for Nyantakyi to come back to Ghana and we will take him on. My son is better off than him and he sits there and talks anyhow to anybody. He doesn’t know me.
