I will take this moment to wish all my FB friends - near and far - a safe entry into the New Year - 2015. As my Friends List continues to grow and grow - as all of ours does - it continues to be evident what a diverse group we all are. Sometimes, when we enlist a new friend we might become surprised one day when we see a post of theirs that their opinion on some topic might be 180 degrees off of our own. And we wonder, Why did I accept this persons friend request? Do I have to keep seeing these posts? Or, we might even realize that someone whom weve known our entire life voted the other way, or believes we should all be slaves, or is now gay or has become a Muslim, etc. Yet, it doesnt hurt us to look at things with which we may disagree. They may be different from ourselves - but that doesnt mean theyre bad. They have friends and family who love them, too. So, for 2015 - May we all remain friends and I hope we can all agree to disagree. Please be safe. And whenever you can - thank a soldier and uphold and defend the real Constitution at every chance.
