I will this morning join the leaders and the people of Baringo county at Kapkokwon AIC church and later proceed to Kapkokwon primary school for the thanksgiving ceremony of the newly appointed Ambassador; Lucy Jebet Chelimo who is to represent Kenya in Ottawa-Canada. I extend my warmest congratulations to her in that new capacity as she joins the eminent cadre of regional leaders who have assumed the high offices in the country. I also thank the Jubilee Government for entrusting her with this great responsibility which speaks clearly to the unequivocal affirmation of my confidence in her leadership as a woman and equally as a youth. During her tenure, I believe that the people of Baringo are looking forward to her active participation and enhancement of the new threshold of development. See you there as we wish her every success as she assumes her new office.
