I will try to get through this with as few expletives as possible, - TopicsExpress

I will try to get through this with as few expletives as possible, but it will be tough. We are still reeling from last night. Walking into what we thought was a fundraiser and being greeted with a very loud “SURPRISE!” by close to 100 familiar faces really left us dumbfounded. It took a while to comprehend what was happening. My thoughts ranged from “why are we walking into a quiet room...why is Luca here (I spotted him first)...HOLY SHIT...NO F’IN WAY...I wish I would’ve went with the black dress...how the hell did they pull this off, we must be idiots!” I think Tim joined in my shock a few seconds later, when the combination of my jaw on the floor & Lil Jon playing finally clicked. It was all so overwhelming. Before we even started planning our wedding, we discussed the possibility of inviting everyone from Maxability. You are the people we spend every day with, so of course we would want to share this occasion with our work family. Unfortunately it just wasn’t an option to have 100+ additional guests. We hoped that when things settled down after the wedding, we could plan something to celebrate with everyone. Little did we know that this surprise had been in the works since January! Words can’t quite describe how thankful we are. Fresh out of wedding planning mode, we know how much work goes into an event like this. All the effort that was put in did not go unnoticed, from the centerpieces to the barbell place cards, awesome custom cake, framed pictures, the list goes on & on. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing community. And a damn sneaky one, at that. How the hell did no one slip up in the last 3 months? Very impressive! THANK YOU all for giving us the surprise of a lifetime, a night that we will always remember. Except Feras, I’m pretty confident he won’t remember anything. :) We love you guys!!
