I will update on Parker, but first let me say this. Between getting Parker, his oxygen, and his feeding pump in the car, and the fact that he HATES his carseat, road trips with him are a little challenging. I was listening to k love yesterday as I was driving to Cincinnati to take Parker to an appointment. It had been a little bit of a stressful morning, but God gave me just what I needed when I needed it. They were doing a little segment called tell me something good where they played several recordings of listeners calling in and telling good things God had done for them in 10 seconds or less. I started thinking about what I would say in my ten seconds if I were to call in. I quickly realized that there is NO WAY I could sum up how good my God has been to me in just ten seconds! We are so very blessed! ! My stress melted away and I spent the rest of the trip listening to k love and praising God! Now for Parker updates :) He is doing great with his therapies! You can see from the picture of him during tummy time, hes getting much stronger with his head control. He has also started sticking his tongue out (this is great for feeding and speech development) He has regressed with oral feeds and has been throwing up a lot. At his appointment yesterday we determined that a G tube (permanent feeding tube that goes in his side and directly into the stomach) is the best option for him. We are confident that with the g tube not only will Parker be much happier/more comfortable since he wont be gagging and throwing up all day, but he will also be able to make better progress with feeding. He is scheduled for the surgery on Nov 20th. Thank you for the continued love, support, and prayers. We are so grateful. #teamparker #prayersforparker
