I will work for Kansas aviation jobs. Sadly, the Pompeo campaign has sunk to a new low. Mr. Pompeos charges of corruption demand an answer and an apology. These mudslinging charges of a desperate, failing campaign also implicate President Bush who signed the legislation into law. Both our Senators at the time, Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback, approved and voted for these defense projects, as did the majority of the House and Senate. The purpose was to keep our military first in the world. The only safe place is first place for America and our troops, which requires research and development on programs like the Air Borne Laser, a Wichita project, drones, new air refueling tankers, Enertec systems and Textrons Scorpion. Mr. Pompeo opposes bringing defense projects to Wichita calling them corrupting. He even tried to strip the research and development money from the Defense Appropriations bill. If you will return me to Congress, I will fight to keep America first in the world and our fighting men and women safe, bringing more jobs back to Kansas.
