I wish I could totally describe how I feel today after the most amazing day yesterday. Im feeling extremely blessed I got to meet a humanitarian, visionary and one of the most positive and conscious artist in music today Michael Franti. If you dont know him or of him ... google him and read amd listen to his songs. 4 months ago when I purchased my tickets for the concert I had a dream that I met him in person. Those of you who dont know Michael Franti has a tattoo on his arm that says today I pray for and a blank line. I asked him in that dream, to write on that blank line if he would pray for addiction. Yep thats right addiction its my work and lifes passion and would be my prayers in my life. Yesterday in the concert they had a 1 1/2 yoga session in the very beginning of the music concert. 300 people were present for the yoga session myself included and he played music while a lady by the name of Seane Corn walked us through class. I decided to do it for the first time. Everytime I would stretch and it would hurt, all I could think of was how blessed I am for being here in this world at this moment, so I would put a smile on my face rather than a frown. Life changer. Michael Franti came down with everyone and asked if this was a first doing yoga. I said yes I received a yoga mat and he signed it for me.I asked him for a guitar pick and he gave me a guitar pick next I asked him if he had written a prayer on his arm today. He paused and listened intently. That picture that you see where hes listening to me is when I asked him that question. He said to me , do you have a special prayer today? I said yes could you please pray for addiction today? He said, Would you write the prayer on my arm? I took out a sharpie and I wrote on the blank line the word addiction on his arm. Later on in the concert with thousands of people presents he walked to the audience in touch the hands of people in the audience I was about three feet from him when he was singing a song he literally came over to me recognized me pised hugged me and kissed me on my cheek tenderly and went on to play it was a moment that I will never forget. Not as a groupie but as a fellow mankind and brother. For most of you that sounds irrelevant and hocus pocus but for me addiction is my lifes passion. I think that we all need to fight for each other to create a better world and help those who need it. So as I sit and think about yesterday events today, I recognize how truly blessed I am to have had my dream come true literally. I hope you all have a blessed and fabulous day.
