I wish I too could have died in that disaster, so at least could - TopicsExpress

I wish I too could have died in that disaster, so at least could not have seen such horrible moment. Just watched a Garhwali Woman on India TV, she is one among the thousands affected people in Uttarakhand. She was around 65 plus and covered a long distance by feet to get the ration for her family members from Govt relief camp. Would you believe, even after the biggest disaster in Uttarakhand and badly affected by it she had smile on her face. Reason she at least got something to feed her grand children. WHAT THE HELL she got two kg rice, one packet of biscuit, one litter water bottle and two hundred gm oil to cook rice. She has a family of six people. When asked how would this help her, she smiled (perhaps on her destiny) and answered in Garhwali, shayad 2-3 din chalal( perhaps two or three days). How great and kind hearted she was, didn’t even curse any one and was happy to get something to feed her grand children. Being a Garhwali I know the life in Garhwal is so though and now it’s going to be thousand time tougher. I wish all the responsible people and God could have been punished for this disaster. Yes God too and I mean my words. 1 hour ago near New Delhi, Delhi
