I wish I was just posting a picture of Foster doing something wild - TopicsExpress

I wish I was just posting a picture of Foster doing something wild like flying an airplane or juggling while riding a bike. Instead I want to thank all of you for caring so much about Fosters life of 9 years and caring about us Fosters family. Our family is beyond heartbroken right now - I have two kids who are confused about all of this and for sure need some extra TLC. I am so grateful for all the kind comments, stories, pictures, information about rainbow bridge and personal stories. I am also sorry to others who have recently lost loved ones. I have had the most incredible dogs in my life staring with Charlie ( pekingese poodle mix ) then Fred ( Welsh Corgi ) and Foster ( Australian Cattle mix ). Foster was only 9 and did not get enough time here with us. Stomach cancer quickly ended his life yesterday ( Tuesday Jan 21, 2015 ). His health went downhill so fast I have never seen anything like it. He was running around as usual at Christmas then had pink eye on his January 9th birthday then became very ill quickly after that around January 14. He was dying yesterday and his health was failing fast. We saw him at 11am then we saw him again at 6pm but he was too tired and weak to sit so he was laying down. I have included some of my favorite pictures of Foster and with the pics included what was happening which will explain why he was so special. Again to all of you with your support, prayers, pictures, stories, the rainbow bridge, emails, writings and concern about us a very huge thank you!!!!!!!!!! We loved Foster so much and were destroyed to lose him last night. He was the coolest dog you could ever have. He knew how to act in every situation from being a guard dog for the kids to a gentleman for company and keeping chill when sneaking him into places that dont allow pets :) Hope you enjoy the pictures and thank you again for caring. His loss feels raw and I know my kids are really hurting too but all the comments and I think there is over 1,000 are helping and I appreciate more than ever people caring. Foster was my best friend and losing him has hurt me bad. We rescued Foster in 2007 from the Humane Society in Dubuque, Iowa but he also rescued us. I know I am a better person with more patience and understanding from just watching how Foster had the magic of unconditional love. Not once did Foster ever get angry with me instead he just always wanted to be by my side no matter what and I loved that dog more than anything. I was not ready for yesterday. Foster is the best! JY
