I wish I would have had a good signal while listening to Whats You Opinion this morning. Theres a regular who calls the show under the alias Tim Tuttle (although his name is believed to be Bosley). In a nut shell, what he said this morning was we should focus our efforts on creating tourism jobs and he then gave the example of some Dollywood in TN. His premise was we would have safer jobs and could then stop mining coal. Now anyone with a lick of sense should like the idea of economic diversification. After all, the Hatfield/McCoy trails have been a huge help to the local economy, but I have a couple of questions for the brainiac who calls himself Tuttle: 1) How many 70-80 thousand dollar jobs is an amusement park going to create? 2) How will the amusement park generate the necessary power to become fully operational? I guess well worry about all that later. I will say kudos to my pal Ginger Willis who did a nice job hosting the show this morning. She knows the importance of coal to our area(and the nation). Just be wise to Mr. Tuttle Ginger. If he had his way, not one more ton of coal would be mined.
