I wish our leaders (in all spheres of our national life) would learn lessons from the happenings in neighbouring countries and halt the high speed of the country ON THE HIGHWAYS TO KIGALI AND SOMALIA: religion is now being practised for political gains, the people on one side of the religious divide see others as enemies that must be consumed with fire while those at the other end want Allah to rain nuclear bombs on their fellow citizens. Some people are now so conscious of where you hail from rather than what you can do for the country. Even the house of GOD is not exempted from this scourge- ETHNICITY which is the root of the avoidable and costly civil war that we still nurse the scar and bear the pangs of pains in our national life. And above all the greed of some of our leaders blindfolds their reasoning and human feelings as the people on the lowest rung of the economic ladder grope in darkness (bleak future) for the three basic needs of man.
