I wish softball was a little more like baseball, in the sense that the sport followed the unwritten rules of the game. That way players dont look like a bunch of quarterbacks with their arm sleeves and encrypted signaling system. And that catchers could go back to calling the game without pitchers looking into the dugout for signals. The integrity of the game has been compromised by technology and coaches stealing signals. I get it, all should do their best to get an advantage to win, but not at the expense of the game. If a player picks a sign, they should wear a pitch. Easy as that. I dont want anyone to get hurt, but I want to get back to the heart of the game, and not the game of stealing signs. I see one way to fix it.
