I wish that Crossfit HQ would release all the data they collect from the Games competitors as a dataset, something nerds like me could load locally into a database to run some analyses. There are a few things I can determine just from the public web site, and Id love to be able to dig deeper into the numbers. For example, here in Tennessee about 10% of all registered Open competitors did not submit a score. Given that we all paid $20 each to join the Games, Im surprised so many essentially threw the money away by not submitting scores. Id love to be able to dive into that 10% to understand why -- are they mostly novices? are women or men more likely to not submit? Basically try to see if theres a demographic trend that can help identify people at-risk for not submitting. Theres so many questions that I cannot answer with the public web site, I need access to the actual data underneath so I can analyze it further.
