I wish that I could become invisible at will, be able to pass through walls, and be able to travel back in time. I also wanna be able to understand ALL of the languages that have ever existed on Earth. If I could, Id do two things in rapid succession, as fast as possible. 1. Id visit the Library of Alexandria before it was burned to nothing. Some scholars believe that the written history of the ancient past had been kept there safely until it was put to the torch on numerous occasions by... uhm, people who got bored and liked to set things on fire? I dont care if I never sleep, Id go through the scrolls to my hearts content. 2. The Vatican Archives. Shit. Id give anything to have an infinite pass among the shelves in that secret place. I cant remember where I read it, but parts of the Bible that have been pulled from its final revision were kept there. And Id love to read them all. What other esoteric knowledge do they keep in there, I wonder? I think I need to wish for immortality, too. I figure its already optimistic to say that its only going to take me years to finish everything. An angry girl like me can dream. Man... all THAT knowledge. I feel giddy just thinking about it.
