I wish that I could throw a big old party for my birthday on April the 18th. I wish that I could throw a big old party wihere I could invite all the wonderful people that I know. We would gather just because. No one would judge the meat eaters, pork eaters, vegetarians or vegans. No one would assume anything about the Hip Hoppers, the Rockers, the Cafe folks, the Gospel joyers or the Symphonic musicians. No one would care if your hair was natural, processed or purchased. No one would care that I have Black friends, Asian friends, Hispanic freinds, LGBT friends, or that we each have different ways of reaching one another via SPIRIT. Religious, or non religious activities would not be a factor. Nor would your checkbook, wallet, credit cards or even lack of all aforementioned. No one would care where you lived, as long as you had a roof over your head & goodness in your heart. I wish that I could throw a big old party. No one would make snide remarks or assumptions on my peresonality based solely on ignorance and assumption of fooletry on my being a member of AKA sorority. I wish that I could throw a big old parrrrrtaaayyy!!! Wheee!! Where all of my actual friends who range from the age of 25 to 80 could gather and love up on each other while learning and enjoying each other & dance & dance & dance to all types of music and not give a damn who sees. Yes, I wish that I could throw a party. Where peoples habits are not ridiculed by counselors and strangers. A party where my friends who have and/or are working on their GEDs will not feel subjected to ridicule by those who hold multiple degrees, just because socieity tells them that they are smarter , when in my reality they actually are of equal intelligence. Circumstance effects EVERYTHING. TRUST... I know folks with 2 Doctorate degrees that are dumb as hell! Giggles...HA!! I digress!!! LOL!! Ahem... I wish that I could throw a big old party when after the night is done, people leave with the feeling that they have met someone VERY UNLIKE themselves and made a conection of positivity and longevity. PAAARRRTTTAAAYYYY!!! I wish that I could throw a party of The UNIVERSE with anyone who has ever shown me any JOY of friendship, and not betrayed my trust and acts of love.& kindness. But most importantly... I woudl want MY GUESTS to be kind to one another, and keep to themselves all that they have seen and heard from those who are not quite HIP and FOWARD THINKING enought to appreciate and understand. I wish that I could throw a party for my birthday, where the ONLY requirement is that you KNOW HOW TO LOVE WITHOUT JUDEGMENT. But I aint Michelle Obama. Giggles...I am Michelle Antoinette Montgomery, and I aint got that kind of dough! LOL!!! Hollering at myself and my dream. But dig this: When I leave this planet, the FIRST thing on my agenda after I hug my Daddy, My Mama, My Pops, My Sister and My Granny will be to throw a party out of this world!!! Whee!!!!
