I wish that when people see a casting notice on here (posted by whichever company), that theyd read the whole thing before replying. If they cant read the CN, how the hell can we seriously expect them to read a script? Women asking to audition for a male role, folk applying to audition 4+ weeks after the auditions have been held, others asking for information that is CLEARLY stated in said CNs and even (for example) the CN asks for a 50+yr old and someone emails to say Im only 25, but feel I could bring a lot to this role! NO problem at all with chancing your arm and using initiative, but seriously? 1) Its not for pantomime 2) Its too late and 3) maybe you could get a 25 yr old grandparent... who knows? Just merely wondering and passing an observation..
