I wish the news would stop using the term "Assault Weapon" to describe a gun... lets cover the basics. 1. It was used on an attack - therefore it is a weapon. 2. The attack was an assault on a person or place, therefore that weapon can be called an assault weapon. In summary, if I throw a potato at you, that potato is now an assault weapon. Can we please be more precise in describing the armament that is used in an attack? You sound like an idiot.
