I wish there was some sort of pause button for those contemplating suicide - it would stop them but also activate the announcement of their death - and they could experience the intense burst of love, and respect, and unsaid things that maybe they were missing. And they would see the connections that they fostered, the joy they brought, the significance of their lives and the need for their life to keep going on. And it would remind all of us to choose radical love over fear, compassion over indifference, expression over-what?-again, fear? that we might actually need each other…
