I wish this article would have come out in July! :) As I have already mentioned in a previous post, I am SOLD OUT for Thanksgiving & Christmas/New Years Holidays. I generally book up before the end September, and many of my customers reserve me as early as the previous holiday! Priority for availability goes to current clients before I begin to meet new people for care during the busy holiday season. I will occasionally get a cancellation or two and will refer to any requests from current customers on my wait list to fill those spots, then refer to other requests. I will receive calls/emails from potential clients right up until the week before a major holiday, sometimes only a day or two ahead of time (!) and most are truly surprised I can not fulfill their request. First, I need at least 1 week advance notice to schedule a meet & greet, it is very rare for me to have an open slot on short notice as my schedule stays quite booked. YOU also need time to check references!
