I wish this was an April Fools joke, but alas, its not. Last night, somewhere around 4 am, I got up to let dogs out. In the process of walking toward the door, I tripped over Joey, the worlds oldest dog, and fell very hard. I fell on my back trying not to fall on her. I figured I would survive, but she probably wouldnt if I landed on her. I have always suspected shed outlive me. Once down, I was confused and dazed. I had nothing to pull up on and had to kneel, something that is almost impossible for me to. My replaced knee was stable, but the other knee, which NEEDS to be replaced, is not. Its so swollen this morning. I can barely walk. I have so many errands to run today, and I will do them, but its a pain. Falling is one of my biggest fears. Will had to get out of bed to help me up. When you are an old fat lady, its complicated. In any event, it could have been worse. Everyone survived.
