I wish to extend my humble appreciation to the WW2 veterans. My Dad , a WW2 veteran, told me how dark the early days of the war seemed. Hitler had crushed Europe and had Russia on her knees. The Japanese had destroyed our Pacific Fleet. Yet that generation met the challenge. When the GIs hit the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944 it must have seemed like breaching the gates of hell. Sacrifice, perseverance, loyalty, & all other words are too hollow to describe what you paid or diminish our debt to you. Thank you Greatest Generation!
