I wish to respect those decision-makers involved with this school district, this school and the specific renovation project, but this scenario routinely occurs all across the country. Those who promote that the spaces are safe better be darn sure they know what they are talking about. Mold has been considered an allergen to asthmatics for decades, a recent study concluded that elevated levels of mold can actually CAUSE asthma. We intersect with health affected clients every day, all have had water intrusions and microbial growth. This problem is not only real, it is important to take it seriously.
