I witnessed a TRAGEDY today! I was driving down the road, smile on my lips , dreaming of the moment I would go to my honey pot to gather the seasons first morels. Suddenly, I saw a ginger of a man swinging a weeds hacker to and fro right in the center of my secret spot!! I drove up his long wooded drive and hopped outta my truck introducing myself with a wild look in my eye! I Informed the ginger man that he was trampling on ( my ) SPORES and asking him if he knew he was standing on a GOLD MINE??? He looked at me with his squinty lil ginger eyes and asked, What is a Morel? I knew it was useless to explain any further and drove away with a tear to my eye..
