I woke in the middle of the night two nights ago with a sore throat and yukky congestion. Been taking cold medicine to feel better just to keep me going because I dont want to miss a moment here in Sedona (in between working :). Yesterday we took it pretty easy. Drove through the Red Rock loop (I posted pix) it was amazing!!! Then we came home and watched Noah which we rented on DVD from the office. It was a cool movie. Today Im still feeling a little rough but not too bad and since its been raining we decided to see if we could find two places the tour guide on the trolly tour told us about, The seven sacred pools (seven pools in rocks that seem to never go dry), and the Devils Kitchen- a GIANT sink hole! . The rain stopped briefly, and so once we found the trail to those two places, we decided to venture out. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Hiking over a mile in the cold will either make me sicker or knock the germs right out of me - hopefully the latter. :) Now lets see if the pix have made it to the cloud yet.
