I woke up a little emotional this morning. ( Well- more like ALOT). Right about now my best friend of 30+ years should be arriving at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore as she is scheduled to have surgery this morning for a brain tumor.. She is scared and anxious and I wish more than anything I could be there with her now and just holding her hand and comforting her as she has always been there for me. I hope they are able to get it all so radiation wont be needed down the road. I hope it is non-cancerous as they believe. I hope she remains strong and keeps her faith. This year has been one helluva ride... but I am determined to have a rainbow if I have to paint it myself! I love you Mary Parkison! You are always in my heart and will be in my prayers today as everyday. Though I cant be there with you in person- I am there in spirit. I hope you feel my love.
