I woke up an hour before my alarm went off and couldnt get back to sleep. I was in a really dark place and I needed to pull myself out of it. It took me a while, but Im getting there. Of course my vacation is over and that doesnt help me any. I mean seriously, who looks forward to spending 8 hours at work? If you happen to look forward about going to work, YAY you! Im jealous! To get me to a better place I started focusing on my Son and how hes doing at camp. Im sure by now theyre up and are either eating or are making breakfast. I dont know exactly what the itinerary is for his camp, but I have the mental picture of him and the rest of the kids in his camp sitting around a campfire cooking, laughing, complaining spilling, joking and just being pre-teen kids. How can that NOT make you smile and laugh. I have the urge to go camping really bad myself. I think I may see if I can find some friends that are interested and go one weekend. Itd just be fun to set up some tents and spend some time chilling by the fire, fishing, telling stories and trying to figure out what the heck kind of bug is climbing up the side of Jeds leg. some people get skeeved out by bugs, not me. I do love watching others do the icky dance when they get one on them. lol. So the game plan for today, focus on the positive, avoid the negative and have a good day. 128 days sober.
