I woke up early this morning with the realization that this last day of the month is also the last day of my year. Life transitions make me ponder and think of all the people that have come through my life and the various influences they gave, good and bad. I wish everyone the best...well, ok, in all honesty, I wish everyone the best, in the varying degrees that I can muster given good/bad experiences, but my best nevertheless. I hope all is well with you, and whatever insanities you may be experiencing, from the mundane to the insurmountable obstacles in life, are fleeting and temporary. And if some happen to linger longer, then I pray for a process of resolution with your resilience, acceptance, and ability to withstand with a constant sense of humor. Life is too short to forego the laughter that can be found in any circumstance...although we must keep in mind that some situations dictate chuckles to be kept inside and not outwardly expressed, lest we be placed in a straightjacket or slapped, literally or figuratively.
